How to play Guess the CS2 Player

Guess the Player is a daily wordle-style guessing game about professional Counter-Strike 2 players. A mystery pro is picked from our database — every player in the current HLTV top 100, everyone who has ever been ranked there, plus legends from the 1.6 and CS:GO eras. Type a name, and each guess reveals how close you are: nationality, team, age, role and more light up green when they match the hidden player.

You get a limited number of attempts per round, and difficulty changes everything. Easy sticks to superstars like s1mple, ZywOo, donk or NiKo; Impossible digs deep into tier-two rosters and retired names only true fans remember.

  • The team clue matches the player’s current roster — use recent transfer knowledge to your advantage.

How many guesses do I get?

You get a limited number of attempts per round, and a limited number of rounds per day. Wrong guesses still help: every one reveals more clue columns.

What do the colours mean?

Green means the clue matches the mystery player exactly. A non-green cell means that attribute is different, which lets you eliminate whole groups of players at once.

Which difficulty should I start on?
