CS2 Team Path

Follow a Counter-Strike pro’s career through the teams they played for, and work out who it is.

How to play CS2 Team Path

Team Path is a career-history puzzle about professional Counter-Strike players. You’re shown the trail of teams a mystery pro has played for — the path — and you must work out who it is. Type your guess, and see how much of the route you had right.

It’s the game for fans who remember rosters, transfers and eras: the database includes every player who has ever cracked the HLTV top 100, from CS2’s current stars back through the CS:GO years. Easy paths belong to famous one-club legends; Impossible paths wind through academy squads and forgotten mixes.

Tips

  • Anchor on the rarest team in the path — small orgs narrow the candidate list far more than Astralis or NAVI do.
  • The order matters: a player who started in a national scene usually stays regional early in the path.
  • Long paths often mean a veteran journeyman; short paths point to young talents or loyal stars.

Frequently asked questions

Is the team path in chronological order?

Yes — the path runs from the player’s first listed org to their current one, which is a clue in itself.

Are academy and stand-in spells included?

On harder difficulties, yes. Those short spells are often the detail that identifies the player.

What if a player is retired?

Retired players appear on higher difficulties, and their path simply ends at their last org.
