CS2 Transfers

Every roster move HLTV has published, dated to the day, back to March 2023.

How this transfer feed works

A list of past clubs tells you where a player has been. It does not tell you when he moved, or how. Every line here carries the exact date, the club he left, the club he joined, and what kind of move it was: a transfer between clubs, a free departure, a benching, or a step into a coaching role.

That distinction matters more than it sounds. A player who leaves a club and a player who is dropped from the active five end up looking identical on most sites, a name with a new team beside it. Here they read differently, because they are different careers.

The feed also covers players who have never been in the top 100, which is what lets you see where a newcomer actually came from instead of watching him appear out of nowhere.

Tips

  • Use the filters to read one kind of story at a time: signings, departures, or bench and staff moves.
  • Highlighted names link through to that pro's full profile, with his stats, career and gear.
  • "no team" is an absence, not a club. It means HLTV listed no organisation on that side of the move.
  • The feed loads more as you scroll, and goes back to March 2023.

Frequently asked questions

Where does this data come from?

HLTV's own transfer listing. Each move is dated from the timestamp the page carries rather than the text it prints, so the dates match HLTV exactly.

How often is it updated?

Weekly, with the rest of the site's data. Each run reads only the pages containing moves it has not already recorded.

Why do some players not link to a profile?

Profiles exist for players who have been in the HLTV top 100. Moves involving anyone else are still listed, because they are often what explains a newcomer's arrival, but there is no page to link to.

What does benched mean here?

The player stayed at the club but left the active five. It is a different event from a transfer, and this feed keeps the two apart.
