CS2 Tier Lists
Rank Counter-Strike players, coaches, clubs or maps the way you see them, send the board to whoever you want with one link, and compare it with where everyone else put them.
3 boards made so far.
Build your own
Start from a blank board — search the whole roster of pros, add exactly the players you want to argue about, name the tiers yourself, then send the link.
The themed boards
- CS2 Top 20 Players Tier List — The twenty best-rated active players in Counter-Strike 2 right now. Drag them into tiers, send the link, and see where everyone else put them. (1 made)
- CS2 AWPer Tier List — Every AWPer in the database with a real sample of maps behind him. One rifle, one role, twenty names to argue about.
- CS2 IGL Tier List — The captains. The one role where the rating is the worst evidence there is, which is what makes ranking them worth doing.
- CS2 Entry Fragger Tier List — The players who take the first duel of the round for a living, ranked by the people who watch them do it.
- CS Major Winners Tier List — Everyone in the database who has lifted a Major trophy, from one-time champions to the players with three.
- CS GOAT Tier List — The All-Time Greats — The legends of Counter-Strike, 1.6 to CS2, on one board. The oldest argument the scene has.
- French CS2 Players Tier List — The French scene on one board, from the Vitality core to everyone still on a roster.
- Danish CS2 Players Tier List — Denmark, the scene that produced the most dominant team Counter-Strike has had, ranked player by player.
- Brazilian CS2 Players Tier List — The Brazilian scene, from the SK era to the players carrying it now.
- Russian CS2 Players Tier List — The deepest pool in Counter-Strike right now, and the hardest one to order. (1 made)
- CS2 Map Tier List — Every map in the pool, plus the one that left it. The shortest board on the site and the one nobody agrees on. (1 made)
- CS2 Coach Tier List — The coaches of the ranked clubs, from the ones who built a era to the ones who took over last month.
- CS2 Team Tier List — The twenty best clubs in the world right now, by the HLTV ranking. Ranking them again is the point.
- Counter-Strike Club Legacy Tier List — The organisations most of this roster has passed through — the ones that built the scene, whether or not they still field a five.
Pick a ready-made board — the top 20 right now, the AWPers, the in-game leaders, the entry fraggers, the Major winners, the all-time greats, a national scene, the coaches of the ranked clubs, the top clubs themselves, the organisations that built the game or the map pool — and you get its subjects on a bench under five tiers, S down to D. Or start from nothing: choose players, coaches, clubs or maps, search the lot, add exactly who is worth arguing about, name the tiers yourself and add or remove them. Drag one into a tier, or tap it and tap the tier: both work, and the second one is there because a phone has no drag-and-drop. Nothing is timed and nothing is scored; a board in progress is kept in your browser, so closing the tab does not lose it.
When you are done you get a short link to your board — no account, no sign-up. That link is private in the only sense that matters here: your board is not listed anywhere on the site, and the only people who can open it are the people you send it to.
What does become public is an average, and it carries no names. Every board made on a themed preset is folded into one community tier list for it: where the room as a whole puts each player, and how many people placed him. It moves every time somebody makes one. A board only counts towards it once it has placed most of its pool — one card dropped in S and nothing else is not an opinion about the players, and it would be the cheapest way there is to drag an average. A board you built from scratch is never counted at all: there is no common pool to average it against.
Tips
- The player pools are built on pros with at least 200 maps on record, so nobody arrives on the strength of one hot month; the coach board is ordered by the club's world rank.
- Order inside a tier by dropping a card in front of another one — it changes nothing in the community average, which only reads the tier.
- On a board from scratch, pick players, coaches or clubs first — one click on a preset chip then drops that whole pool in, and you can take out whoever you like.
- The IGL board is the one where the statistics are the worst evidence: HLTV's Top 20 is an individual ranking, so it under-rates captains by construction.
Frequently asked questions
Is the CS2 tier list maker free?
Yes, and no account is needed. You can build and share as many boards as you like.
How do I share my tier list?
Press the button and you get a short link that opens your board exactly as you left it. Send that link to whoever you want.
Is my tier list public?
No. A board is reachable only by its link and is not listed anywhere on the site. The one thing that is public is the anonymous average on a themed board's page, which your tiers count towards without your name or your title.
Can I build a tier list from scratch?
Yes. The blank board lets you choose players, coaches, clubs or maps, search all of them, add exactly who you want, rename the tiers and add or remove them, then get a link like any other board.
Where does the data come from?
From the site's own database, refreshed every week: the ratings, the maps played, the roles and the Majors for the players, the club and the world ranking for the coaches, and the crests and rankings for the organisations.
What is the community tier list?
The average of every board made on that preset — the tier the room as a whole puts each player in, with the number of people who placed him. A board joins it once it has placed most of the pool.
Can I rank coaches, teams and maps, not just players?
Yes. There is a board for the coaches of the ranked clubs, one for the top clubs, one for the organisations most of the roster has passed through, and one for the maps — and the blank board lets you pick any of the four and build your own.
